シュータンが無く内側と外側の2つのパーツで構成。

FREELOCKで締めると内側のパーツが外側のパーツの下に滑り込み、フィッティング調整する仕様になっています。

ソールはvibram社のトラクション・ラグという新機能が付随しているソールを使っています。トラクション・ラグとは、細かい凹凸が履いて荷重がかかることにより、ソールの接地面積が最大50％アップし、それにより地面をしっかり捉え、従来のソールより前に踏み出す力が25％増える機能的なソールです。大地を噛みしめる感覚を体感しながら、お気に入りの街を歩いて欲しい、そんな一足です。

The shoe lacks a tongue and consists of two parts: an inner and an outer section.

When tightened with FREELOCK, the inner section slides under the outer section to adjust the fit.

The sole features a new technology from Vibram called “Traction Lug.” Traction Lug is a functional sole that uses fine ridges and grooves; when weight is applied while walking, the sole’s contact area increases by up to 50%, allowing for a firm grip on the ground and a 25% increase in forward propulsion compared to conventional soles. This is a pair of shoes designed for you to walk through your favorite city while experiencing the sensation of truly connecting with the earth beneath your feet.

PLAYGROUND, a select shop, opened in Tomigaya (Shibuya Ward) in 2018.

It offers a selection of sneakers from various brands and also features its own original brand, “PG.”

Through experiencing numerous sneakers—seeing them, wearing them, and owning them—the brand gained insights that were then applied to create an original sneaker brand. This brand pays homage to traditional designs and functionality while incorporating PLAYGROUND's unique perspective.
