2018年、富ヶ谷 (渋谷区) にオープンしたセレクトショップ PLAYGROUND。

様々なブランドのスニーカーのセレクトや、オリジナルのブランドである「PG」を展開。

多くのスニーカーに目にし、多くのスニーカーに足を通し、多くのスニーカーを所有することで気付き、またこの知見を生かし、伝統的な意匠や機能に敬意を表しつつ、PLAYGROUND独自の視点を加えて作り上げたオリジナルスニーカーブランドです。

pg では初になるミッドカット仕様。

つま先からラバー、レザー、ネオプレーンのレイヤーで構成されたアウターとナイロンのインナーの2層構造のシューズ。

インナーにはクイックシューレースシステムを初めて採用し、シューレースを結ぶこと無くアジャスターで簡単にホールド、リリースができます。
ソールはおなじみvibram®のライトトレック用のソールを使用しています。
見た目のボリュームに相反して軽量で底あたりも柔らかく軽快に着用できます。vibram®MEGAGRIPのアウトソールにより、濡れた路面でも滑らず優れた防滑性を兼ね揃えています。

This is the first mid-cut version for pg.

The shoes have a two-layer construction with an outer layer of rubber, leather, and neoprene from the toe to the inner layer of nylon.

The inner layer features a quick shoe lace system for the first time, allowing for easy hold and release with an adjuster without tying the laces.
The sole uses the well-known vibram® sole for the Light Trek.
The vibram® MEGAGRIP outsole provides excellent slip resistance even on wet surfaces.
